Family Sessions
Toddlers, children, teenagers, adults, grannys and grandpas. At any age, you can have fun and that is what my lifestyle shoots are all about.Outdoor locations work really well with children, as it gives them the freedom to play and move about, giving me the opportunity to capture relaxed, natural shots as they happen. This can be at the local park, woodlands, towpath, your garden etc...
What to expect
- Using the great outdoors as your backdrop gives such a unique element to your photographs

FAQ'S
Some families have a very specific idea of what look they want for their shoot, such as Bluebells, which will determine the location. I can also suggest locations that will work well for you children, family and accessibility, just ask as there are so many gorgeous places to go!
Wear clothes that reflect your family's personality; jeans, dresses, jumpers etc and not your 'Sunday Best' unless that is what you want in be photographed in! Colours from the same colour palette work really well outdoors (avoid logos on tops etc as these detract the eye) Wellies, coats and hats are great for outdoor shoots, along with a spare change of clothes, just in case! I will photograph in most weather conditions that are suitable for children. On the day before the shoot, you will be contacted to discuss the suitability of the weather conditions. Heavy rain and high winds are not great for cameras or people, so I usually rescedule if the forecast is for bad weather.
Absolutely! Dogs (and other pets?!) are welcome if this has been pre-arranged as part of the photo shoot, so have a chat with me if you have a four-legged friend you want in the photos and we can chat about the logistics...I have captured families with their dogs, cats and horses, however, your anaimal is under YOUR control!
1-2 Days - Sneak Peek
If you are social media users, I can post a 'Sneak Peek' to my Facebook Page a couple of days after your shoot.
1 Week to 10 Days - Viewing Session
I will invite you to my home office for a viewing session where we can discuss exactly what you would like to have in your home. The viewing session is a very relaxed experience, I will show you around 30+ images which have been carefully edited. These will include a variety of family pictures, individual portraits and images of your family playing and interacting together.
The aim of the viewing session is to show you what is possible with your images for your home – you will be shown the photographs from your photo shoot on a large viewing screen and look at a suggested ideas for frames, albums etc. I will provide you with some 'Suggestions' of framed images to help with your decision-making process, and my clients find this incredibly useful.
I offer a range of Collections which are for those wanting a combination of digitals and printed products, or I offer a full range of beautiful bespoke finished art to complement your home, from stunning statements to framed collages to beautiful albums. I work with the finest suppliers in the UK to ensure that your products are of the best quality.
Most clients at Amanda White Photography spend any where between £300 and £1500, so it’s important that you have a budget in mind to purchase exactly what you want.
All prices are valid for three months from the date of your photo shoot.
2-3 Weeks - Delivery of Order
Approximately 2 - 3 weeks after your photo shoot, your order will be ready for delivery to your home.
