Do you love taking photographs of your own family, wildlife or landscapes and want to get better? Do you have a fancy digital camera, but don't have the time or the inclination to read about all the settings!? Do you want to be able to take some beautiful images whilst on holiday? On a day out? or maybe just in the back garden having fun?

When you can't hire me to take your images, then you want to be able to take your own!
So join me for a day's Beginner's Workshop where you will get to know more about your camera and learn some simple techniques to give you the skills to improve your photography.

The day will be a great mix of learning some technical information alongside lots of hands-on image making.

This will be based in the gorgeous 'Garden Boutique' venue located at The Artisan Boutique, Stone.
We will be doing a combination of relaxed classroom based, technical learning and then lots of hands-on photography,

firstly in the 'Garden Boutique', then around Stone town and Stonefield Park.

If you are looking for a Team Building Day with a difference, then why not try a PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP TEAM BUILDING DAY?

My Workshops provide a fun and relaxed day where your team will get to learn about their cameras, the outdoors and exploring their creative side. Photography Workshops are a great way for your team to spend a day immersing themselves in the great outdoors whilst seeing the world though another persepctive.

The Team Building Days are a full day of fun, relaxation and creativity including drinks, a light lunch and a 'Head Shot' each of your team for them to use on their LinkedIN profiles.

My Team Building Workshops can run from a number of locations around Staffordshire, Cheshire and Derbyshire, usually at a beautiful location for both indoor and outdoor activities.

Delegate day rate from £125 per person

A full day of Team Building
Indoor based 'learning'
Outdoor activities, including a photo walk, camera activities, and fun experiences.
A 'Headshot' session for your team to have a new profile images for their LinkedIn Profile or Business Website.

Children's Photography Workshops

Do you have a young Budding Photographer in your family? Does your child love taking photos and want to learn more? Are they creative and have an eye for great images?

My Children's Workshops to cater for your Child's individual photography requirements, so working either on a 1-2-1 basis or in small groups.
I will be announcing some Spring Kids Group workshops soon...

1-2-1 sessions are are done by request, so if you are interested in me running a workshop for your child/children or group, such as schools, clubs etc, then please get in touch. Children's Workshop fees are from £50 per child for a 1-2-1 for a morning or afternoon session and from £25 per child for group workshops, depending on the size of group.

FAQ'S

Do I need a DSLR camera to attend?

For most of my group workshops, then yes I would be training everyone how to use an SLR camera, so compact cameras or phone cameras won't be suitable. However, if you are having a 1-2-1 workshop session, I can tailor your training to be more specific to your type of camera.

What happens if it rains?

The British weather can be very changable and for all my workshops, I will still run them if there is light rain forecast, as it's ok to still get out and about with your camera. However if the forecast is for heavy rain, I will probably reschedule the session to another date.

What should I wear?

Casual clothes are best and layers, including a waterproof and walking boots or wellies for when we go out and about in the countryside. Depending on the time of year, I would recommend that you bring along some gloves and a hat, just in case it's chilly.

What do I do if I need to cancel?

If you cannot make your workshop due to illness or other curcumstances, then please give at least 24 hours notice. You will be offered a place at an alternative future date. Please see my Booking Terms & Conditions below.

Terms & Conditions of Booking

1. At the time of booking, a deposit is required to secure your place on the course. The remaining balance is due a week before the workshop date. If payment is not made on time, your place may be given to another attendee. If you cancel more than 4 weeks before the course date, you will not be liable to pay the remaining balance, but your deposit will be retained. Unfortunately, if you cancel within 10 days of the course date the full amount will be retained unless a replacement can be found. You are welcome to sell your place if necessary. If you are unable to attend due to illness, then you will be offered a place on a future date or a full refund. If the workshop has to be cancelled due to ill health/extreme weather, then an alternative date will be offered.

2. The workshop notes remain the property of Amanda White Photography and cannot be reproduced or shared without permission.

3. The workshop is for BEGINNERS and NOT FOR PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS, or for those people who are planning to pursue a photography career.
